About customer A:

A is one of the biggest Steel door factory with more than 50 years of experience supplying Fire rated(UL & BS476) and NFR Steel doors to MENA market,they have good relationship with Consulting offices, Government and Private institutions.

Challenge:

A was bidding for a project with total package more than 5,000 swing doors,the project owner gave a Challenging Budget which A has to find a way to reduce cost but NO compromise on quality.

Back then A was using hardware items from a International leading brand,the hardware items occupy big part of total cost of door,the premium of branding + profits from levels of local brand dealers which caused A purchased hardware at expensive cost.

3,Sharing Certificate performance with A brand:

A’s door are UL/BS476 Fire rated and projects require all hardware to be certified,since A don’t have hardware certification under its own name,D&D issued an Official letter to certify that D&D is appointed manufacturer for A brand door hardware under certified production facilities/standard and ISO 9001 quality management system,hence A brand hardware items share same performance as D&D’s certification.

Further,D&D issue Declaration of Conformity to certify that specific models of A equal to D&D’s model listed on D&D certification,with certified standard/file number and valid certification attached.

4,Making Technical datasheet under A brand:

To get approval from consultant groups,it is required to submit physical samples together with Technical datasheet.D&D engineer team prepared Technical datasheet for A brand door hardware,which A’s engineer team can focus all their energy working on door schedules with A’s customer.

With aboved documents submitted together with physical samples,A brand door hardware were approved by consultant office.

5,Designing A brand packing & A logo on all items:

Apart from purchasing hardware items for A’s own door production,A is also eager to enlarge their business into hardware field.  D&D designing team proposed couple of packing designs for A to choose,A is happy with the designs which meet A’s sprit and visualization perfectly.Moreover,the designing was free of cost which A saved a big sum of money from hiring designer.

QC reports include details like Product pictures,Logo markings on items,Measurements of Item,Measurements of Accessories like Screws,Compatibility of item & accessories,Inner box,Label on Inner box,Marks on Outside carton,Marks on Pallets,Loading pictures in Container etc.

After received the QC report,A felt confident with production quality and excited to wait for arrival of materials.

8,Installation guidance & After-sales support:

When materials delivered to A’s workshop,A’s worker started to install hardware onto the doors,all items suit into door cut-out perfectly.Door hardware fit into Steel door cut-out is extremely important.

When installing door closers,A’s worker were not quite sure how to adjust the Back check & Delay valves properly,D&D guided by video calling right away which installation were finish on time.
